Bonding in brief

Bonding means applying tooth-colored composite material to the surface of the tooth layer by layer and shaping it. Small chips, gaps between the front teeth (diastema), shape problems and some color problems can be corrected this way.

Most of the time the tooth does not need to be cut and the procedure is finished in one session. For larger changes, veneers or zirconia crowns may be more suitable. At our clinic, bonding is done by Dr. Betül Hamitoğlu and Balamir Türker, DDS.

No. If you are considering whitening, it is done first and the bonding is then matched to the new shade.

Is the procedure painful?

Most of the time no numbing is needed and the procedure is painless.
